You receive a data source map, a reporting map, an evidence-based readiness assessment, prioritized opportunities, and a staged roadmap. There is no obligation to continue with us.

Yes. The two are designed to work together, but each stands alone. You can come for the audit only and keep the roadmap, or come with a clear spec from your own analysis and have us build the automation directly. We recommend the audit first when the current data and process landscape has not yet been documented.

Automation projects fail most often because the underlying data is fragmented. Building dashboards or automation on scattered, inconsistent data produces tools no one trusts. The audit reduces the risk of automating unreliable data or a poorly defined process. If you have already documented that, we can start from your spec.

The build, delivered in stages: connected data sources with validation rules, a searchable knowledge system, management dashboards, an AI-assisted interface for querying data and preparing summaries, and workflow automation with defined approval steps, audit logs and error handling — all integrated with the systems you already use.

Product businesses: vendors and brand representatives, distributors, and retailers. They run on operational data spread across ERP, spreadsheets, and people's heads, and make frequent decisions that depend on that data being current. That is exactly the problem the two offers are built for.

The audit works from read access to your existing systems and reports, plus conversations with the people who run them. We scope access deliberately, only as far as each stage requires.

Actions with material business impact require approval from an authorized employee; automation handles the repetitive, deterministic parts. AI is used for unstructured work — classification, extraction, search and drafting — not for changing system records on its own. We work within your access constraints and don't move data beyond what an engagement requires.

You own the roadmap. You receive it whether or not you continue implementation with N40, and you can implement it with us in stages, take it to another team, or run it internally. There is no lock-in built into the audit.

N40 is focused on data and process automation for product businesses. We do not sell standalone product prototyping, MVP development, partner portals, or messaging infrastructure.
